Ragnarly's journey into electronic music began in an unexpected way. As a videographer in Sacramento before the pandemic, he spent three months editing a documentary for a local DJ collective footage that captured the raw energy of DJs commanding the stage. When the premiere was cancelled due to lockdown, that energy stayed with him. What started as curiosity quickly evolved into obsession, and Ragnarly taught himself to DJ during quarantine, channeling five years of videography experience into understanding crowd dynamics and performance.
Now splitting his time between San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Ragnarly has established himself across California's bass music scene and is expanding his reach internationally. His sound is rooted in aggressive bass house and festival-ready big room, but what sets him apart is his fearless approach to genre-blending.
